The Rock

The rock featured bands playing hard rock for the most part. Cover bands playing 80's hair metal could be seen here, such as Poison Cherry that became The Rock's house band for a while. Unfortunately for The Rock, most club patrons didn't seem that interested in coming out to see their favorite hits of yesteryear, and most of the original bands did not have the draw to keep the club open, even with free admission.

The Rock disappeared with very little in the news, and it hasn't really been missed, unlike clubs like Trees and Club Dada that made a stir when they decided to close their doors.
