TAYLOR'S BIO:

It was on my 10th birthday that I received my first CD, "Use Your Illusion II" by Guns 'n Roses. Being the first departure from my parents play list of golden oldies, I immediately fell in love. After seeing Slash rock out the guitar solo on the video for November Rain, I knew my destiny was being uncovered: TO BE AS MUCH LIKE SLASH AS POSSIBLE!

When I first picked up my fathers old, beat up, nylon-stringed classical guitar, my fingers began to hurt as I quickly discovered how slow a learner I was going to be. Luckily in the years to come, my creative fires would be fueled by the increased drive to get a girl to touch me. ...still waiting.

With the introduction of new bands such as Nirvana, Eric Clapton, and Jimi Hendrix, and a wicked mean game of hide and go seek between me and my parents, I would soon achieve my childhood dream: to be a decent guitarist, high school dropout, pizza boy with parents on opposite sides of the globe! And just when I thought they couldn't fit any more Cheetos in my bag, I finally found the "Fun In Dysfunctional" with a group of high school friends who shared both my distaste for music on the radio and my alienation from family life. Together we formed the shitty rock band "Fallen from the Nest".

For years we would release our aggressions in damp garages and sister's bedrooms, making some of the loudest noises possible. Over time some of these noises mutated into something comparable to songs. Our music was as unstructured, unorganized, and misguided as our lives; however, with the addition of veteran rockstar/badass, Brent Rambo, both the band and the music began to finally lead toward success and maturity (or our skewed interpretation of it, anyway). In these sessions, I finally found the stability and confidence to go back out into the world and achieve the most impotent of goals: I am finishing my college career w/ a useless philosophy degree and I am the proud owner of my own musical instuction company. I even get touched by a girl every now and then! Still I live my life five minutes at a time. So remember: "Aim high, high for the stars, because you too can achieve your goals, just look at me!"
