About

From their website:
Moonshot Radio sounds like... well... Moonshot Radio. However, since descriptions are necessary... take the jangly grit of early 80's R.E.M., underscore it with Foo Fighters-esque hooks, then flavor it with a little U2 and early era Radiohead.

Moonshot Radio is gaining national attention as college radio stations all over the U.S. add the debut CD, Anywhere But Here..., to their playlists. Over 120 stations have picked up the record, with several charting it in their top 30.

Moonshot Radio recorded their CD at Bass Propulsion Laboratories (BPL) under the expert guidance of Todd and Toby Pipes ( Deep Blue Something ). What began as the Pipes Brothers' personal recording studio has become an icon of recording quality, serving as the launching point for bands like Flickerstick, Hi-Fi Drowning, Tweed, 25% Toby, and Drowning Pool. With the mixing genius of Stuart Sikes (The Promise Ring, The White Stripes, Jets to Brazil), Moonshot Radio was able to craft "an exceptional independent CD".

Brothers David and Ronnie Bates share songwriting, microphone and guitar duties, with Mike Arceri on drums and Matt Morgan on bass. Moonshot Radio has shared the stage with bands like Pleasant Grove, Goldenboy, El Gato, Ohno, Eisley, Radiant, Pop Unknown, Tripp Fontaine, and many more.
