Kenneth Kirchen, beater of drums and banger of cymbals, has long been a source of discussion among brain surgeons and fry cooks seeking to answer one of life's great mysteries: Just what makes Fletcher's corny dogs so darn tasty? Ken's perceptive ear often finds new songs buried in warm-up routines ("Hey, play that again!"), and his arrangement skills tighten and concentrate the band's work.
Working tirelessly to put cheese fries on the table for his beloved wife, Jamie, and their three offspring-Alex, Alana and Alyssa, Ken can often be found huddled in a corner, clutching his last copy of Tiger Beat, muttering something about Leif Garrett making a comeback. Quick thinking photo-safari types can occasionally catch this creature with his head burried in the latest Chrysler V-6 or tuning that Chevy small-block. When not in this condition, Ken energizes The Touch's music on his custom Yamaha drum kit with a relentless pounding that only a true artisan can appreciate.
