Flying Machine

Flying Machine: A brotherhood for those who struggle. A comradery of those who overcome. An exorcism of the demons of mediocrity. A musical decoy designed to solicit your mind and heart's attention. An arena for creativity. Flying Machine: Three guys. Broken, but not bewildered. Earth is our stage. We began our journey in August of 2002 in Dallas, TX, with one goal in mind: to be the biggest band in the solar system. And in three and a half years of playing and touring (U.S., Asia, Europe, etc.) we've seen some amazing things, met some great people and been dealt more than our fair share of disappointment. But since we have yet to accomplish our objective, we press forward. And we WILL accomplish that objective. Rather than present the attitude that we have something to offer the world, we feel that there is much to see and learn. Flying Machine is the alias for our communitive response to what our eyes have beheld, our ears have heard and our hands have touched. It is our identity at its deepest core. And it just happens to be a kickin' rock band. There is much to be said for convenience. Flying Machine is comprised of three fellows who share this dream. It is the fuel for the fire. One guy surfs, one guy is a proud and dedicated father, and the other one wishes he was capable of doing those things... so he writes the songs. That pretty much sums it up.
