01100: Feelings
By: TheAncientSo you have feelings? You feel lonely? Misunderstood? Heartbroken? Let's look at this miserable part of our human heritage called feelings...
To make it more interresting, we can take myself as an example, and my feeling at the moment is one of heartbreak, which you could easily understand from my poem in DD#8.
The reasons for this feeling I will leave alone, since it is none of your business. A feeling is an electrical stimulance to specific parts of your brain, much like thoughts and memories. After a while, it becomes a chemical disruptin/change in your brain, making it more permanent. That is where all the stubborn and ignorant people come from, they have gotten caught in a specific pattern of thought and state of mind, which after a while becomes permanent.
This is bad, no matter if your feelings are good or bad, since it makes you less observant to changes, and make you ignorant. How do feelings come about? We all get impressions from all over the place, all the time. The brain handles about 100 million impressions of different kinds, per second. This means that there are no way our concious mind can handle them all at once, thus we would surely go insane immedeately. Also, to protect us, the brain filters what to send to our concious mind. Sometimes this process fails, and lets trough bad impressions, actually meant to be discarded. Much like the way you can IP spoof your way through a firewall... This would happen about too many times, a second. What happens next is that your mind tries to process this correct but highly misplaced information, of course... with no great luck. This creates the electrical signals that are feelings. Most of the time they are just feelings of no significant kind, like the smell of a computer keyboard. Other times, the really nasty ones get through. Like when your girlfriend does something that hurts you. She is actually doing that all the time, it is just that you do not notice it, since the info gets filtered out correctly most of the time. Sometimes, though, it gets through. This creates everything from mild discomfort to months of stomach problems and agony. Since the difference in reaction to these signals vary so much, I'll give you a hint what the difference is: You. It's how you handle this faulty information that finally decides how it is gonna affect you and your mind. If you can't get it out of your system fast, it will eat itself deeper and deeper into your mind, evetually becoming a permanent chemical change to part of you brain substance. This is what creates for example rapists and murderers, and even politicians. They start to get affected so early they have no idea what goes on, and by the time they choose what to do with their life, they are already fucked. The changes have become permanent.
So, you say, what can I do to fight these evil signals from hell? You need to attack them from the very moment they enter your brainn, but due to the sheer number of them, concentrate on the BAD ones, which will give you the most reward in the long run. Don't let these signals race around in your brain undisturbed, fight them every wake moment of your life! Or you could just take the easy way out, drugs. For more info on that subject, I think CADLT would be more than happy to help. I myself are fighting this strong heartbreak on my own terms now: I have accepted the loss of my girlfriend, even tho there is no split yet. That way I will be able to laugh in the face of the split when it happens, if it happens.
Phuck thee 'o feeling of misery loss and heartbreak, thou I have conquered your flag and slayed your commander, throw your forces at me in a final last attack, and I will teach thee a lesson in courage and inpenetrable defence, pheer my revenge!!!
