Thank you, but in fact I am an idolator, and with good reason too. Biblical scholars now believe that many of the festivals associated with Christianity have pagan roots (i.e., Easter). Easter of course is the Late Jewish re-intepretation of Passover, in turn an import from the Akkadian feast of Tammuz during the Babylonian captivity, and that in turn a Late Semitic adaptation of the three-day long Sumerian Feast of Dumuzi, the demigod who was slaughtered sacrificially, fed to the fields to promote the harvest, and returned from the underworld with the next year's crops. His nomiker was "Kutu-Lu," literally "Man of the Underworld," which later was translated into "Cthulu," synonymous with the Devil. Furthermore, Cthulu, later believed to be a watery Leviathan, was son of AND identical with Apsu, first and most feared of gods. Apsu literally means "Abyss," and if the Jesus-like figure of Cthulu is the Son, then God the Father is the Abyss.
Judaeo-Christianity has many more links with ancient Semitic theology: witness if you will the following example. The ancient Sumerians believed that between the creation of the world and the flood, there elapsed 432,000 years marked by 10 kings. The Old Testament stated that between the seven-day creation of the world and the flood, there elapsed 1656 years: the number of seven-day weeks in 1656 years is 86,400 (twice 43,200!) Furthermore, according to the Babylonian-derived system of minutes and seconds we use today, there are 86,400 seconds in a day, there are 2160 (half 4320) years in an equinoctial zodiacal solar precession, etc. Our very system of timekeeping derives from an astrological system of divination which your religion views as sacreligious.
To you these beliefs may seem like a blasphemy, but trust me when I say I feel likewise. Christianity is simply a very convoluted evolution of ancient polytheistic traditions, and the middleman of time can be excised very easily. I pray for you too. I pray that when you die, the other gods will not feel bitter that you have only worshipped Yahweh Sama-El (Ea Saml in original Akkadian), and feed you to the howling demon Zephyr of the winds.
Think about this, and please do not reply to me as I will consider this harassment. Your perversion of my beliefs disgusts me, and I find it incredible that you can take the word of thirteen drunken street urchins and a whore over the beliefs of four great empires (Sumerian, Babylonian, Hebrew, and Phoenecian). Furthermore, you have the gall to call MY beliefs blasphemous - at least I don't cannibalize my God every Eucharist. Whether or not I sell my soul to appease the scorpion demons is MY personal business, not the business of you nor the business of some drugged out Charles Manson wannabe from 4 B.C.
Have a wonderful day.
