Christian Sly
Bands
Lead Vocals, Guitar, Piano, Harmonica
From the Frolic web site:
Born: September 1, 1978 in Abilene, Texas
Descending from a long line of family musicians, Christian has been completely surrounded by some sort of music all of his life. He started playing guitar at the age of 12, when he traded his bike to a kid down the street for his first acoustic. Being a self-taught musician, Christian was able to shape and mold his talents into the types of music that he liked. He took an enormous liking to the guitar styling of such bands as Nirvana, The Melvins, and the Foo Fighters, as well as picking up the classical style of Lindsay Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac. With his talents stretching to several other instruments, Christian has been able to mix them together into Frolic's songs to create the bands energetic sound. His ability to arrange vocal melodies and harmonies along with the guitar style is very easy to distinguish. It is this process that has created the band's unique style.
