Army of Fools

Army of Fools hails from Fort Worth, TX and has been a band for 5 years. Mark Kolenc, Patrick Graham, and Nathan Wakefield met in high school and decided to start a trio, by the name of Army of Fools. In June of 05 a fourth member was added, Mikey Branton. Ever since Mikey has been a piece of AOF they have been playing numerous amounts of shows in hopes of getting a good following. As you know with any other band, practice makes perfection and since AOF has a strong desire for making a great impression towards others then that means alot of ambition is needed. Our main goal not only as a band but as people is to drive our hard work and satisfaction towards something very gratifying and rewarding. Some highly appreciative and talented musicians known as our influences include: The Pixies, Radiohead, The Zutons, Nada Surf, The Toadies, Nirvana, Modest Mouse, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Strokes, Sonic Youth, Starlight Mints, and list goes on. Army of Fools is looking to be booked in as many venues as possible all over the U.S. in order to pay off our hard work and dedication to get a good following.
