AfterSummer

AfterSummer is a unique Dallas based band that plays emotionally strong heavy music. AfterSummer blends Spanish and English lyrics into music that is used to express life, love and everything in between. The band is comprised of 4 Dallas/FTW musicians, including 3 original members from the successful local band Silverpill. AfterSummer has been expressing their unique blend of rock since early 2003. After the loss of their original bassist the remaining members forged ahead by recruiting Mike Manley, formally of Lateral, in June of 2005. So far in a successful 2005 AfterSummer has played across the SW region while winning accolades from fans and critics alike. With an energetic live show, thoughtful introspective lyrics, and a hard edged driving sound AfterSummer won the LMA Battle of the Bands in Austin, TX from a field comprised of some of the best bands Texas has to offer. With years of experience and the drive to succeed it is easy to understand why they continue to make people take notice.
